My Story
I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, and joined the US Army my senior year of high school. Originally just a way to pay for college, I turned the Army into a career and proudly served this great nation for the next 28 years. When retirement time came, I chose to plant roots here in Hutto rather than return to the "frozen tundra" of Wisconsin.

After having my house built and moving in, I finally got myself off to college. I received my AA in English from Austin Community College in May 2016, and my BAS in Communications & Management from Texas State in December 2017.

Shortly after moving to Hutto, I was shown multiple paths to serve the community and participate in the government, and I started serving on municipal boards and commissions. I ran for City Council in 2018, and continue to serve in a volunteer capacity to this day. A little setback like losing an election didn't diminish my passion for serving the community I chose to call home.

I recognize that there are hundreds or thousands of different ideas about the future of Hutto, but I firmly believe that this community can take those ideas and work together towards a common goal of a truly outstanding Hutto.
